You may recognize Betsy and Justin from their engagement session earlier this year, and hopefully, you had the chance to check out Betsy's bridal portraits on the blog earlier this week. I had the pleasure of meeting Betsy and Justin about a year ago, when they contacted us about photographing their wedding, and we were honored to be a part of that big day this past weekend.

These two are filled with life, love, and lots of Southern charm, and their much anticipated event was a true reflection of those things. Surrounded by friends and family from near and far, they vowed to be by each other's side forever in a beautiful ceremony at High Point's First United Methodist Church, followed by a great party at High Point Country Club that had folks of all ages on the dance floor throughout the evening.​

I am officially convinced that golf courses make for some of the most beautiful photos... but a dashing groom and GORGEOUS bride don't hurt either ;)​

tim+ashlea :: married :: lexington nc wedding photographer

You may remember Tim+Ashlea from their beautiful farm engagement session a couple of months ago or Ashlea's bridal portraits that were posted to the blog just a few days ago. We were introduced to these two through mutual friends not long after we moved to North Carolina, and we were so excited when they got engaged and asked us to photograph their wedding!

It was a gorgeous, albeit a very hot, day down at the lovely Childress Vineyards in Lexington. The bridal party and guests were all troopers withstanding the 100+ degree temps to see them become Mr. and Mrs. (the wine slushies were especially helpful in keeping everyone cool... just one of the many benefits of getting married at a winery), and the newlyweds were awesome for putting up with the heat and humidity to get some great photos in the vineyards.

Just look at those shoes! Ashlea is a girl who LOVES bling.

I am in love with this sweet moment that Josh captured from afar of Ashlea's daddy walking her down the aisle... a good father/daughter moment gets me every time!
